According to NewsOK, five of the stations will be located at Chesapeake’s field offices in Weatherford, Waynoka, Lindsay, Arkoma and Wilburton, and will be opened January 12 to 18. The sixth dispensing point will be inaugurated later in El Reno.
Chesapeake, a natural gas explorer and producer that has already converted nearly 700 of its fleet vehicles to CNG, is in charge of the setting up and supplying while OnCue Express will own and operate the stations.
“Bringing CNG to communities across Oklahoma allows the community, state and nation to take a step forward in reducing our dependency on foreign oil,” said James Roller, Chesapeake’s market development coordinator.
