The conversion cost is estimated at $44,000, which could be recouped in as little as three years, and potential benefits include lower fuel costs, longer engine lives and reduced emissions into the environment. The BSU vehicles are scheduled to be on the road of Bonita Springs City this summer.
“Starting with four vehicles lets us uncover any stumbling blocks, train staff on fueling procedures, and test reliability. This is important because ensuring uninterrupted service to our member-customers is a high priority,” added Liggins.
